Monica's son Martin is seriously ill and hospitalized with his life at stake. To ease the hurt and pain, she adopts David, a robot child. David's mission of survival is to love her. Martin wakes up, recovers and returns to his family. A series of events make David "out of favor", and finally abandoned by Monica.
