Islamic Cleric Apologizes for Incendiary Comments Against Oluremi Tinubu

Idris Tenshi, an Islamic cleric, has issued an apology for his earlier remarks advocating for the killing of Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the president. In a sermon, Tenshi referred to Tinubu's wife as an "infidel" deserving of death, citing her leadership among unbelievers.

Following widespread condemnation, including demands for his arrest and prosecution by the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Tenshi retracted his statements in a new video.
